In today’s fast-paced business world, seamless connectivity has become more than a luxury. It has evolved into the backbone of operational efficiency. But what happens when your business expands, and physical infrastructure like fiber optic cables simply isn’t an option?
At Tech2Go, we love a good connectivity puzzle.
Take a look at our long-time client, Federated Distributors Inc., who came to us with a challenge. They needed to securely and reliably connect their main office to a nearby warehouse. However, trenching and laying traditional fiber cables between the locations was completely off the table due to physical and logistical constraints.
Our answer? Go wireless.
Problem Solve With Gigabit Wireless Backhaul
To bridge the gap without the high costs, permits, and disruption of laying fiber, the Tech2Go team deployed a Gigabit Wireless Backhaul solution. Powered by industry-leading Mimosa Wireless technology, we established a high-speed point-to-point wireless link capable of acting as an invisible, ultra-fast data bridge between the two buildings.
By taking to the airwaves, we essentially turned two separate facilities into one unified network.
Two Buildings, One Unified Network
The result was a massive success, delivering fiber-grade performance through the air. Thanks to the new Mimosa-powered wireless backhaul, Federated Distributors Inc. now enjoys:
1. Blazing Speed: A rock-solid 700Mbps connection that handles heavy data loads with ease.
2. Seamless Access: Uninterrupted internet and local network (LAN) access across both the main office and the warehouse.
3. Total Coverage: Full managed WiFi and integrated CCTV coverage, ensuring their inventory and operations remain secure and visible in real-time.
Trust That Spans Years
This project is a proud moment for us, not just because of the technical achievement, but because it highlights our enduring partnership with Federated Distributors Inc. We want to extend a huge thank you to their team for their continued trust in Tech2Go to manage and scale their strategic IT solutions.
